What's new in oToK

Every release — the new features, improvements, and fixes, as they ship.

5.00.01

v5.00.01

New

  • Payments: track customer payments and refunds on the contact card, analyze revenue, export to CSV, trigger automations from payment activity, and manage it all via the API too.
  • Audiences: build a contact segment once — dynamic (always up to date) or static — and reuse it across campaigns, automations, and bulk actions.
  • Newsletters: publish sequenced email issues where new subscribers catch up on past issues at their own pace, with an optional public archive page for your newsletter.
  • Meeting scheduling: define meeting types and your availability, connect your calendar, and share a public booking page where contacts book time with you directly.
  • Cardcom integration: purchases made through the Cardcom payment gateway sync into oToK automatically.
  • Command palette (Ctrl/Cmd+K) to jump anywhere in the app, and a bottom tab bar for faster navigation on mobile.
  • Shabbat and Jewish holiday observance: optionally hold automated sends and block meeting bookings during Shabbat and holidays — held messages go out when it ends.
  • Editable links in sent emails: fix a wrong destination URL retroactively — every copy already delivered points to the updated address.

Improved

  • Navigation redesigned: tools that used to hide inside hub pages are now full pages of their own, and Billing is easier to reach.
  • Integrations settings rebuilt as a gallery with a detail panel per integration, including field-mapping editors for Salesforce and ActiveTrail.
  • Fairer conversation auto-assignment: agents can be opted out individually, and lifecycle-stage assignment now lives in the same settings.
  • Adding tags or groups through the API or imports now adds to existing ones by default instead of replacing them.
  • Recurring payments can end automatically — by a date or after a set number of charges.
  • Events: clearer registrant counts, and no-shows appear only after the event has ended.
  • The "After event end" automation trigger now fires when the event actually ends — automatically once its end time passes, or the moment it's manually marked as ended.
  • Contacts whose WhatsApp messages bounce are paused temporarily and retried automatically each week, instead of being cut off outright.
  • Zoom-linked events re-sync just before scheduled event automations fire, so last-minute time changes in Zoom are respected.
  • Open a contact's full card directly from an inbox conversation.

Fixed

  • CSV updates no longer erase existing contact data when a mapped column is empty for that row.
  • Mobile forms and dialogs no longer scroll sideways (including the New Deal form).

4.19.00

v4.19.00

New

  • Automations can branch on which button a contact tapped in a WhatsApp template message.
  • Contact IP address field — visible on the contact card and mappable in CSV import.
  • Right-click context menu on inbox messages for quick actions.
  • Event automations: pick an event by its ID and use that event's details as variables in messages.
  • When testing an automation, you can now see how every variable resolved at each step.

Improved

  • The Contacts list remembers your filters, page, and scroll position when you come back from a contact card.
  • Contacts search gets its own full-width row on mobile.
  • Hovering a failed message in the inbox now shows the exact error.

Fixed

  • A contact's full name and first/last names now stay in sync everywhere, no matter how the contact was created or updated.
  • The contacts search box no longer hides your typed text on mobile.

4.18.02

v4.18.02

Fixed

  • Resolved two recurring errors that could interrupt tools in the automation editor.

4.18.01

v4.18.01

New

  • A reimagined automation editor with two synchronized views: the visual canvas and a new Outline — a linear step list that is faster for building and reading long automations.
  • Full mobile authoring: build and edit automations from your phone, with step settings opening as bottom sheets.
  • Copy and paste steps between automations, multi-select steps for bulk delete or duplicate, drag to reorder steps, and move a step into another branch.
  • In-automation search with jump-to-step, a keyboard quick-add palette, and a keyboard shortcuts cheat-sheet.
  • Per-step notes, branch labels on the canvas, starter templates for empty automations, and pre-publish validation that lists problems and marks the affected steps.
  • Simulate an automation starting from any chosen step.

Fixed

  • The Tag/Group Changed trigger no longer fails validation because of leftover settings.
  • Dark-mode display corrected across the new editor.

4.17.01

v4.17.01

New

  • Automation testing: dry-run a whole automation or a single step in a safe simulation — nothing is actually sent. See a rendered preview of every step (WhatsApp bubble, composed email, contact changes), flip decision branches and re-run, and watch the taken path light up on the canvas.
  • "Run for real" test sends: execute a saved automation for a chosen contact after confirmation. Test runs are clearly labeled and excluded from analytics, reports, and monthly quotas — and work even on unpublished automations.

Fixed

  • Corrected arrow direction in the activity monitor for right-to-left layouts.
  • The sidebar's overflow menu now behaves correctly on more screen sizes.

4.16.00

v4.16.00

New

  • Next/previous event variables: reference the contact's upcoming or most recent event — its name, date, link and more — in any message or automation.

4.15.01

v4.15.01

New

  • Wait step "until a condition" mode: pause an automation until the contact's data meets a condition — with an optional maximum wait, a send window, and a live preview of who would continue.
  • Wait step "relative" mode: resume a set number of days later at a fixed time of day.
  • CSV import: set the phone country per row, not just one default for the whole file.

Improved

  • The import screen now shows which default country will be applied to phone numbers without a country code.

4.14.00

v4.14.00

Improved

  • Contact import was redesigned as a full-screen, step-by-step wizard — upload, map fields, review, and track progress in one focused flow.

4.13.03

v4.13.03

Improved

  • Automation status filters are now a clear dropdown, and the Event Date/Time trigger explains what each attendance status means.

Earlier releases

4.13.02

v4.13.02

Fixed

  • CSV import handles conflicting or malformed phone/email values more gracefully instead of failing those rows.
  • Import error reports now download properly, without navigating you away from the app.
